WELLNESS AREA Terms & Conditions

1. General Use
1.1. The wellness area, including the wood-fired hot tub, sauna, and plunge pools, is used entirely at the guest’s own risk.
1.2. Guests must follow all written and verbal instructions provided by management.
1.3. The wellness area is located outdoors in a rural environment; guests must take extra care when walking on uneven ground, wet surfaces, or in low-light conditions.

2. Health & Safety
2.1. Guests must not use the facilities if they have any medical condition that could be worsened by heat, cold exposure, or immersion in water.
2.2. Guests must shower before coming to the Wellness Area and before entering the hot tub.
2.3. Guests must also shower immediately after exiting the sauna before using the hot tub or plunge pools.
2.4. Running, jumping or diving into any pool or tub is strictly prohibited.
2.5. Glass containers are not allowed anywhere in the wellness area.
2.6. No under-16's are permitted in the wellness area, including the hot tub, sauna, and plunge pools.

3. Sauna Use
3.1. The sauna can reach temperatures of up to 110°C.
3.2. Plastic Warning: Do not bring plastic items (including water bottles, bags, footwear, or accessories) into the sauna. Plastic can melt, deform, release fumes, and cause burns or equipment damage.
3.3. Limit sauna sessions to 10–15 minutes unless you are experienced with heat exposure.
3.4. Guests must leave the sauna immediately if they feel dizzy, nauseous, or unwell.
3.5. Do not pour water or other substances onto the heater except where permitted.
3.6. All guests must take a full-body shower when leaving the sauna before entering the plunge pools or hot tub.

4. Hot Tub Use
4.1. The hot tub is wood-fired; water temperature may vary. Guests must check the temperature before entering.
4.2. Do not tamper with the stove, firebox, or heating equipment.
4.3. The tub must not be used under the influence of excessive alcohol or drugs.
4.4. Fake tan, body oils, and heavy cosmetics must be fully removed prior to use.

4.5. The hot tub is maintained using chlorine.

5. Plunge Pools
5.1. Plunge pools are cold by design; guests should enter gradually.
5.2. Individuals with heart concerns, circulatory issues, or sensitivity to cold should not use the plunge pools.
5.3. No diving, jumping, or horseplay is permitted.
5.4. A shower is required after exiting the sauna and before entering plunge pools.

6. Behaviour & Conduct
6.1. Disorderly or unsafe behaviour may result in immediate removal from the wellness area without refund.
6.2. Respect the privacy and comfort of other guests at all times.
6.3. Noise should be kept at a reasonable level, especially in the evenings.

7. Rural Environment Disclaimer
7.1. The wellness area is set in a rural location. Guests may encounter natural elements such as uneven paths, wildlife, mud, rain, and changing weather conditions.
7.2. Appropriate footwear should be worn when walking to and from the facilities.
7.3. The property is not responsible for injuries arising from slips, trips, or environmental hazards typical to outdoor/rural settings.

8. Damage, Loss & Liability
8.1. Guests are responsible for any damage they cause to equipment, structures, or property.
8.2. The owners accept no responsibility for lost, damaged, or stolen personal belongings.
8.3. By booking and using the wellness area, guests agree to indemnify the owners from any liability for injury, illness, or accidents arising from misuse, negligence, or failure to follow instructions.

9. Weather & Operational Conditions
9.1. In severe weather or unsafe conditions, management reserves the right to close the wellness area without notice.
9.2. Refunds or rescheduling will be handled at management’s discretion.

10. Booking & Cancellation
10.1. Use of the wellness area is by prior booking only.
10.2. Guests must arrive on time; sessions cannot be extended due to late arrival.
10.3. Cancellations must follow the booking policy provided at the time of purchase.
